Bio

Sean Pekarsky was named the Head Women's Basketball Coach in August of 2023. He is an accomplished individual with a strong background in education and sports coaching. He is an alumnus of Montclair State University, where he studied Health and Physical Education, he recceived his Master’s in Education/Education Leadership from Saint Peter's University.

As the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Paramus Catholic, Sean oversaw not only the Varsity team but also the Freshman and Junior Varsity teams. He dedicated 14 years to coaching the Ladies Paladins Women’s Basketball team.

In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Sean has organized charity events such as the Forget Me Not Foundations and has helped athletes in the program secure opportunities to play at the collegiate level. His dedication to the success of his players both on and off the court is evident in his work as a coach and mentor.

Sean Pekarsky has an impressive list of accolades as the Head Boys Varsity Lacrosse Coach and his involvement in Bergen Community College Women's Basketball. Here are some of his notable achievements:

Head Boys Varsity Lacrosse Coach:

- Qualified for the NJSIAA Sectional Tournament in the Spring of 2008 and 2014-2016, showcasing consistent success in the competitive high school lacrosse scene.

- Qualified for the Bergen County Tournament in 2014 and 2016, demonstrating the team's ability to compete at a high level within the county.

- Coached multiple athletes to become All-League team and All-County team members, highlighting his ability to develop talent and achieve individual player success.

Bergen Community College Women's Basketball:

- Helped Nia Duran to becoming a Second Team All-Region and First Team All-Conference 

- 2024 WOmen's Basketball Team was named the Bergen Cpmmunity College Academic Team of the Year.

As a former lacrosse player for Montclair State University, Sean Pekarsky's personal achievements include being a team captain and earning recognition as an All-Conference player during his time at the university. His experience as a successful player has undoubtedly influenced his coaching style and ability to mentor and develop athletes under his guidance.
