Women's Cross Country Earns 6th Place at Nationals.
The sixth place finish was the highest since Bergen finished in sixth place in 2002. The team was two points away from fifth place team and finished with a total of 158 points overall.
Paramus, NJ - Women's Cross Country finshed in 6th place out of 13 teams competing at The 2016 NJCAA National Tournament Meet in Finge Lakes Community College this past Saturday, November 12th.

Freshman, Justine Conca (Nutley), made First Team All-American by finishing in fourth place out of 116 runners. Conca finished with a time of 20:27.5. She also earned The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (East Region) Women's Athlete of the Year, for winning the Region XIX Individual Title in 19:47.
Sophomore, Amanda Duran (Hackensack), finished in 49th place with a time of 23:37.9.
Sophome, Kelli Galati (Rutherford), finishied in 58th place with a time of 24:40.4.
She was followed by freshman, Jessica Reyes with a time of 25:01.3 (64th place).
Sophomore, Melissa Duran (Hackensack), finished in the top 5 for Bergen with a time of 25:19.9 and in 69th place. Melissa's finish put Bergen's 5 team runners in the top 70.
She was followed by freshman, Faega Fostok with a time of 27:04.8 (94th place) & Sophomore, Elizabeth Zuluaga (Ridgefield) finished in the top 112th to complete a wonderful season for the Bulldogs.
