BERGEN WOMEN TAKE SECOND AT REGIONS
Bergen's Women's Cross Country team finished in second place in both the Region XIX Championship and Conference Championship.
Paramus, NJ- Bergen's Women's Cross Country team finished in second place in both the Region XIX Championship and Conference Championship. The team had a challenging meet this year, but was able to pull away with the runner up trophies. Bergen did have sophomore, Justine Conca, finish first individually and won both the Division III Region XIX and Conference Championship. Justine has won the championship in back to back years and looks to be one of the top runners competing in the national tournament.
The top five finishers were, Justine Conca, Katiana Mendoza, Maria Pia Paredes Cordova, Janisa Mendez and Elinor Hershkovitz.
The team's second place finish, has qualified for the national tournament at Holyoke College, Holyoke MA. They will compete at the 2017 NJCAA Championship Meet this Saturday, November, 4. Go Bulldogs!!!
