Lincroft, NJ- The Bergen Community College women's soccer team claimed a 3-2 victory over Brookdale Community College in Region 19 action on Tuesday, marking their first win since 2019 and their first Region 19 victory since 2016.
Trailing 1-0 after the first half, Bergen came out strong in the second, with Jackie Carabello opening the scoring at 47:29 with an unassisted goal. The offensive pressure continued as Kimberly Guaman found the back of the net twice, first at 71:37 and again at 83:50, both unassisted, securing the historic win for Bergen.
Goalkeeper Olly Arango stood out for Bergen, making 17 saves.
