Men’s Soccer Players Earn NJCAA Region 19 Honors
Paramus, NJ – Bergen Community College is proud to announce that three standout players from the men's soccer team have been recognized for their outstanding performances during the 2024 season by earning spots on the NJCAA Region 19 All-Region teams:
- William Quevedo Ferro – Named to the First Team All-Region
- Oscar Gomez – Named to the Second Team All-Region
- Landon Frank – Named to the Third Team All-Region
These honors underscore the players' exceptional contributions to the team and their impact on the field throughout the season.
Player Highlights
William Quevedo Ferro – First Team All-Region
As a key defender, Quevedo started 12 games and anchored the Bulldogs' backline. His defensive prowess was complemented by his offensive contributions, with 1 goal, 2 assists, and 4 points. He also delivered a game-winning goal, showcasing his ability to step up in crucial moments.
Oscar Gomez – Second Team All-Region
Gomez was a versatile offensive force for Bergen, recording 9 goals, 5 assists, and 23 points over 14 games. His efficiency in front of goal was remarkable, with a .391 shooting percentage and a .826 shots on goal percentage. He also converted a penalty and scored a game-winning goal, proving his value in high-pressure situations.
Landon Frank – Third Team All-Region
Frank demonstrated consistency and playmaking ability, tallying 9 goals, 6 assists, and 24 points in 14 games. He was a key contributor to the team's offensive success, with a .513 shots on goal percentage and a game-winning goal to his name.

"Having three players recognized at the regional level is a tremendous honor for our program," said Head Coach Jonathan Sanchez. "William, Oscar, and Landon have been exceptional leaders on and off the field. Their dedication and performances are a big part of what made this season so successful for us."

The Bulldogs finished the 2024 season with a record of 8-5-2 and a strong 7-3-2 mark in conference play. The team's achievements reflect the hard work and talent of its players, and these individual honors highlight the caliber of Bergen Community College's soccer program.
