Bulldgos Cannot Hold On To Halftime Lead Fall to Passaic

PATERSON, NJ- Bergen held a 38-36 lead at halftime but could not hold in the second half as Passaic secured a 97-90 victory. Passaic improved to 2-4 on the year, while Bergen dropped to 1-5.
IMPACT PLAYERS
- Michael Byfield connected on 10-of-24 shots overall and went 3-of-12 from downtown. Leading the way for the Bulldogs with 26 points.
- Ladorien Ladson scored 12 points and pulled down 14 rebounds.
- CJ Dark added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
GAME NOTES
- This is the first game of the 23-24 season for county rivals. They will meet again when Passaic travels to Bergen on 12/7.
- Tonight's game counted only for GSAC standings. The 12/7 game at Bergen will count towards Region 19 standings.
- Passaic shot 52.8% from the field compared to Bergen's 39.1%
- The Bulldogs connected on 7-of-20 (23.3%) three-pointers and made 11-of-19 from the charity stripe.
- Passaic finished 8-of-23 (34.8%) from downtown. The Panthers canned 13-of-22 from the charity stripe.
