Figueroa's 3 Run Home Run Walks off Middlesex

PARAMUS, NJ- Bergen baseball came from behind again defeating Middlesex 9-6 tonight. Paul Figueroa blasted a three-run home run in the bottom of the 9th to break a 6-6 tie and propel the Bulldogs to another Region 19 victory.
How it Happened
- Bergen jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first when Carlos Pascual doubled in Dee Rice who led off the game with a single, Figueroa followed by singling in Enger Otriz to take the early lead.
- Bulldog starter Luixander Polanco would have Middlesex scoreless until the fourth inning. Giving up 1 run on 1 hit.
- Bergen would answer with an unearned run in the bottom half of the inning.
- Middlesex would score 2 runs in the 7th and 3 runs in the 8th to tie the game at 6.
- In the bottom of the 9th the Bulldogs would get two runners on with 1 out before Figueroa's heroics.
