PARAMUS, NJ- Bergen women's volleyball made it 5 for 5 to start the season defeating Passaic Count 3-0.
IMPACT PLAYERS
- Gianna Scillia led the Bulldogs offensively posting a match-high 12 kills for a .348 hitting percentage.
- Brandi Shortway finished with eight kills and 21 assists on the evening.
- Yumi Higughi tallied a match-high 28 digs (7.67 digs per set) and finished with two aces.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Bergen got out to a fast lead early in the match, leading by as much as 14-2 from the jump. Passaic would rally back getting as close as 21-20before Higughi served out the set.
- Bergen led for the majority of the second set.
- Passaic got after it in the third and led from the start. Down 10-, Bergen went on a 7-1 run. Daemen won six of the last seven points to win the third set 25-20 and take the match 3-0.
