PARAMUS, NJ- Bergen won for the first time in the 23-24 season and secured the first collegiate coaching victory for head coach Sean Pekarsky as the defeated Bronx CC 57-40. Bergen improves to 1-5 while on the season.
IMPACT PLAYERS
- Nya Duran, who entered the game averaging a team-high 10 points per game, drilled four three-pointers on her way to a game-high 20 points.
- Josselyn Nantipia went 5-of-14 from the field chipping in 11 points. She also added eleven and a block.
- Melody Peralta added ten points off the bench, to go along with 5 rebounds.
GAME NOTES
- The Bulldogs secured their first win of the season without two starters. Jackie Carabello and Jordan Brown were both ejected in the first half following an altercation.
- Bronx CC played the entire second half and part of the first with only four players.
