Paramus, NJ - Bergen's Softball team raised money to travel to Myrtle Beach, SC for the Cal Ripken Experience. The team played three games and finished 1-2. They lost the first game to Cumberland by one run and made a great comeback, but left the bases loaded on the last out of the game. They then lost the next day to Cumberland, but finished strong by defeating Finger Lakes for the last game of the season.
Madison Heck, won her first game as a Bulldog, by pitching a complete game, with 8 stirke outs, 5 hits and one earned run versus Finger Lakes. The rest of the team hit and played solid defense throughout the trip. Bergen will face Cumberland and Columbia Green next weekend.
