Paramus, NJ - Bergen continues its successful season after defeating Union at home in a three game sweep. Bergen now holds a 15-4 record on the season.
First game - Bergen wins 10-3. Aryed Garcia record his fifth win of the year and pitched 5.2 innings. Aryed allowed 7 hits, 5 BB, 3 ER and 7K on the day. Michael Cerbo finished the game with 1.1 scoreless innings. Offensively, Joseph Mitchell had a big day at the plate going 2-3 with a double and triple, 2 runs, 2 RBI and a stolen base. Jonnathan Cepeda and Dylan Habeeb also had two hits a piece on the day.
Second game - Bergen wins 3-1. Jeremie Torres gets the win and is now 4-1 on the season. Jeremie pitched a complete game allowing only 3 hits, 1 unearned run and striking out double digits (11). Dylan Habeeb launched a solo home run and Jonnathan Cepeda continued his hot hitting going 2-3 with a double.
Third game - Bergen wins 13-3. Jose Sierra gets the win and is now 2-2 on the season. Jose pitched a 6 innings allowing only 4 hits, 2BB and struck out 8. Bergen bats came alive as the Bulldogs had four doubles each from Joseph Mitchell, Kelvin Cruz, Martin Lucibello , Gary Puente. Kelvin Cruz, Dean Dilauri and Dylan Habeeb all had two hits apiece.
