Men's Cross Country at Nationals
Bergen's Men finish 11th place out of 29 teams at the 2017 NJCAA National Cross Country Meet.
Paramus, NJ - Bergen Bulldogs finished in 11th place (Average time of 29:37.36) out of 29 teams at the 2017 NJCAA National Cross Country Meet. Bergen had a good showing at the national meet hosted by Holyoke CC in Massachusetts.
Sophomore, Malhar Vyas (Wallington, NJ), led the team and finished in 58th place out of 203 runners, with a time of 29:04.9. He was followed by three of his teammates that finished together; Christopher Loughman (Cliffside Park, NJ) 70th place with a time of 29:24.8, Thomas Lotito (Oak Ridge, NJ) finished 71st with a time of 29:28.0 and Richard Wisse finished in 72nd place with a time of 29:37.7. Sophomore, Nikko Reyes (Bergenfield, NJ), finalized the team scoring by finishing in 102nd place with a time of 30:31.4.
Freshmand, Edwin Asitimbay (Hackensack, NJ) finished in 113th place and sophomore, Andy Jaipersaud (Bogota, NJ) finished the race in 135th place.
