Bergen sweeps Middlesex Double Header
Bulldogs win the first two out of the three game series against Middlesex.
Paramus, NJ - Bergen Bulldogs continue to roll after sweeping a double header from Middlesex. Bergen's overall record is 8-1 and the two from Middlesex gives the Bulldogs their first two region wins.
First game - Aryed Garcia wins his second game after taking the mound on Saturday at Middlesex. He pitched 6.1 inning, allowing 1 run on four hits, three walks and striking out 10. Offensively, Bergen had catcher Dylan Habeeb go 2-5 with a homerun and 4 RBI. Even Geisler, Kelvin Puello and Mikal Trice each had two hits apiece. Jonnathan Cepeda and Mikal Trice both doubled in the game.
Second game - Jeremie Torres wins his second game of the year pitching 6 innings allowing no runs on three walks and striking out 10 batters. Jose Sierra came in to finish the 7th inning. Joesph Mitchell had a big day at the plate driving three runs in with a bases loaded double.
