All Region Athletes
Fall Sport Student-Athletes receive All-Region honors
Paramus, NJ - Bergen Athletics Department received wonderful new regarding five fall student-athletes. This fall, five student-athletes received All Region XIX honors. Congrats to the following student-athletes:
Women's Cross Country - Gabrielle Grant earned First Team All-Region honors after finishing in 6th place at the 2019 Region XIX Cross Country Championship. She looks to bring her talent the spring to the Women's Track & Field team this spring.
Women's Volleyball - Crystal Mudry earned 3rd Team All-Region honors for her excellent play this fall. She earned All Region XIX honors as an Outside Hitter. Crystal had some impressive nationally ranked stats for her first season as a Bulldog. Crystal finished ranked 3rd nationally in Kill Per Set (4.27) and also ranked 4th national for Points Per Set (5.6). Crystal is also a very good softball player and looks to bring her talent to the diamond this spring.
Men's Soccer - Tomar Crawford earned 1st Team All Region honors for his excellent play this fall. He earned All Region XIX honors as an Outside Hitter. Tomar is a powerful and very skilled defender. He shined all season and noticed by all coaches the played against. Ultimately, those same coaches were so impressed that they selected him First Team Defender.
Men's Cross Country - Chris Benitez & Jorge Dutan both received First Team All-Region XIX honors after competing in the 2019 Region XIX Cross Country Championship. Sophomore, Chris Benitez, finished in 1st place with a time of 28:23.60. Chris was followed by teammate Jorge Dutan who placed in 2nd place with a time of 28:30.60. They both look to bring their talent the spring's Men's Track and Field Team.
